TRITEC has further strengthened its position in the Middle East by joining forces with the new United Arab Emirates based company Superior Technologies (ST).

ST, which has its main offices in Dubai, has signed a deal to distribute TRITEC’s range of fibre optic installation equipment in the UAE.

Emad Al-Hasouni, one of the two partners who formed the company at the end of 2002, is optimistic about offering this new solution to the many system integrators in the region, "We can see that there is a good market potential for the FASE II taking in to consideration the huge property and infrastructure investment. We will be targeting the major system integrators and the qualified installers based in the UAE. The main attraction of the TRITEC product range is its operational simplicity and quality and we are looking forward to promoting the ‘Splicing Made Simple’ brand in the UAE."

Focussing on the structured cabling market ST also offers a connectivity solution of Cat5e, Cat6 and optical fibre from Superior Modular Products, as well as splicing, test equipment and fibre optic consumables.
