TRITEC EXPANDS INTO SOUTH AMERICA

TRITEC Developments confirms its position as one of the leading international suppliers of optical fibre installation equipment by announcing its new partnership with Secotec, one of South America’s most established test and measurement equipment suppliers.

Secotec will be distributing TRITEC’s leading-edge fusion splicing technology to the Venezuelan marketplace. Valery Dazun, Telecoms Sales Manager at Secotec, comments: "We are delighted to be working alongside TRITEC. We needed to add to our current product portfolio in order to improve our presence in the fibre optics market. TRITEC provides a high quality, reliable product that meets the needs of all our customers."

Secotec has already secured a major deal worth over £18,000 with Venezuela’s largest telecoms operator, supplying 11 fibre preparation kits including the TC II+ Optical Fibre Cleaver from TRITEC. The custom designed kits were based on TRITEC’s FPK I fibre preparation kit and provided extra tools and accessories to the customers specification. The product will be used for long haul fibre links, and was chosen for its reliability, ease of use and ruggedness.
