TRITEC
APPOINTS NEW HEAD OF SALES AND MARKETING
The UKs leading provider of fibre
optic installation and splicing equipment TRITEC Developments
has appointed Jonathan Hunt as its new sales and marketing
manager.
One of Jonathans key responsibilities
is to develop the companys worldwide distributor network to
help increase market penetration. In addition, he will identify
and implement a new marketing strategy that integrates with TRITECs
overall business plan.
"This is an exciting time for TRITEC,"
says Jonathan. "The company has considerable technological
expertise and as a result has developed a range of leading edge
products. It is now down to me to realise the full potential of
these products by raising awareness and increasing market penetration
on an international scale. Its a real challenge and one that
Im looking forward to."
Jonathan achieved a BSc Hons in Physiology
from the University of Leeds in 1997, followed by a Graduate Gateway
Qualification in Business Management from the University of Salford
one year later.
And even at 25 years, Jonathan already has
considerable experience within the technology arena. He joined IBM
(UK) in March 1998 and by January 1999, was promoted to deputy team
leader of the ICI contract. In April 1999 he was seconded to Rolls
Royce and Bentley Motor Cars, and one year later moved into a pre-sales
role selling e-commerce solutions to the engineering department.
David Myers, director at TRITEC, understands
what Jonathan can offer the company: "Jonathan brings a completely
new skills set to the table. We have been concentrating on the development
of technologically advanced products and now need to make some noise
about them. His academic record and work experience means that he
is well placed to drive the sales and marketing function forward
and he is an important addition to the senior management team.".
