IIS OPENS GULF FOR TRITEC

TRITEC Developments is delighted to announce its partnership with International Information Systems (IIS). IIS is a rapidly emerging supplier of fibre optic materials throughout the Gulf region, across both LAN & WAN applications. "The FASE II fusion splicer is exactly what we were looking for." commented IIS Sales Director Ali Samad, whose colleagues are pictured here outside the head office in Bahrain, adding "As well as complementing our current product portfolio, the TRITEC catalogue has enabled us to focus more heavily on the datacomms side of the industry."

Approvals for the FASE II from the MOD and major companies such as Alcatel Submarine Networks strongly influenced IIS to add to their product range. Ali Samad went on to say "This product has an impressive, distinctive client base. Add to this the ease of use, and you have an extremely marketable package for our customers." Since the partnership began 4 months ago, IIS has been successfully growing its fibre business winning a major Fibre-to-the-desk (FTTD) project, valued at US$2.75 Million.

Jonathan Hunt, the Sales & Marketing Manager believes this could be a significant step towards sealing new long-term business. "As our colleagues are targeting medium/large businesses throughout Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait, the requirement for broadband office networks is becoming all too apparent. Now we have the opportunity to implement such a solution, in a cost effective manner."
