TRITEC GAINS INVESTORS IN PEOPLE STATUS

TRITEC has formalised its training and staff development by applying for the Investors in People award. After interviewing members of staff from each department the assessors granted the award in July.

Investors in People (IIP) is the National Standard awarded to organisations that successfully combine people development and involvement with achieving organisational objectives.

As TRITEC designs and manufactures highly specialised fibre optics installation equipment it has always recognised the need to train and develop staff. Since the company’s foundation back in 1989, the value of a working unit has always been encouraged. The teamwork that exists between all members of staff creates an effective communication channel to the customer and provides an enjoyable working environment.

The award was presented to Stephen Curd, Director of TRITEC, by Adele Cauldwell of Greater Merseyside Enterprises (GME) today. Mr Curd said, "We have always realised that it is difficult to find people with the right skills and experience in our industry. We are, therefore, committed to supporting the development of our staff, as we believe that it is crucial to the success of the company to provide adequate and continuous training. The IIP award is a welcome recognition of the efforts of the whole team at TRITEC."

Alvar Jones, Business Advisor at GME, stated "The successful recognition of the company as an Investor in People reinforces the fact that the company continues to place emphasis on the value of its employees and the importance of their contribution to the overall success of the business."
