TRITEC
KICK-STARTS THE NEW YEAR WITH A NEW PRODUCTION MANAGER!
TRITEC Developments Ltd, the UKs leading
provider of fusion splicing equipment, has appointed qualified martial
arts instructor Chris Morris as Production Manager, to give the
New Year a real kick start.
Chris, who spends his spare time teaching
martial arts in his home town of Whiston, hopes to bring his considerable
technical manufacturing experience to the fore as he heads up the
production, quality and buying departments at TRITEC. And he has
already set himself some clear goals: "I want to build on an
already successful and highly efficient team here. I need to ensure
that TRITEC continues to deliver products to the highest quality
standards, to an ever growing customer base, and with minimum lead
time."
Chris has joined TRITEC after gaining over
seven years experience in a technical manufacturing environment
at electrical filter and suppressers manufacturer, MPE Ltd. He hopes
to pass on some of this invaluable experience to his team: "I
think its very important that a manager is directly involved
in training staff," he explains.
Chriss arrival at TRITEC comes after
a very busy year that has seen considerable growth in their product
turnover. A major contract with the Ministry of Defence (MOD), along
with a number of other big contract wins has meant that the production
department at TRITEC has expanded considerably. David Myers, Director
at TRITEC comments: "We decided to appoint a new Production
Manager to allow the directors more time to pursue strategic development
of the business. This is just a part of a planned restructuring
as we strive to meet the demands of continued expansion."
Chris concludes: "Its great to
join a company at such an exciting time, and with such growth potential.
I hope that l can pack a real punch in helping TRITEC
grow even further in 2002!"
